Journal Entry #7

If I were to be forced to spend the rest of my life in a library, a museum, or a zoo I would have to pick the zoo. I would pick the zoo because I would love to be able to see how it is to live in each animals habitat. There are so many interesting animals, so I would never get bored there. I would most likely have an extremely great adventure everyday of my life for the rest of my life. The first animal I would probably go and live with first for a whole day would be the monkeys. I love monkeys, they are my favorite. Everytime I go to the zoo that's the first animal I got to because I'm always laughing when I do. Plus I feel that monkeys are human like creatures,

So I would be able to communicate with them easier than any other animals.

I think that this is very true. As a child I understood a lot of things my mom would say that maybe in her generation at a young age they would have not understood. So yes I would say the same as Maurice Sendak. Yes in our generation a lot of us come to know terrible things at a very young age. I think that if adults under estimate us as children/teenagers and then they come to find that we are a lot smarter then they think and they become very much surprised. Sometimes it can be beneficial to learn things at a young age. But it also can be harmful. In certain situations such as arguing very intensely or unrefined can be horrible for children to see or hear. But also learning from your mistakes at a young age can make you become a better person.

      I think the best advice I give is relationship advice. Many of my friends come to me when there is problems in their relationship and don't know what to do. There is many ways to handle different types of situations and I try and go with the most positive outcome there is, if I can. Some things one can't fix, it really depends on what the whole situation is.There are times when I don't know what to say because I have never been in that type of predicament or anything like it. People tend to not take responsibility for his/her actions in a relationship when they are wrong, and I think its is very important to apologize when wrong or own up to it.

Journal entry

    So Tuesday was a very busy day for me. I woke up and went to school like a regular day. But throughout the day, I was having very bad stomach pains, and it just kept getting worse. By the time I got home the pain was unbearable. And I just could not take it anymore. So as my mom was going into work at mercy hospital, she took me to the emergency room. When we got to the hospital, there was a ton of people there. I thought it was going to take forever to be seen. But surprisingly, I got seen within 20 minutes of waiting. I get back there and I can't lie, it took a moment before the doctor saw me. So the nurse came in , then shortly after the doctor. She began my IV in my right arm but she couldn't find the vein, so she started moving the needle around.  Which hurt pretty bad. Finally, she got the needle in my left arm. Decided I needed a cat scan and gave me some chalky disgusting white liquid and told mento drink the whole container. This was the most trifling thing I've ever tasted. An hour later the nurse came back and took me to get scanned. It was probably two hours later when they came back with the results. It was so late I didn't get home til 4am. I was actually going to try and go to school 2hrs later. But I woke up in pain and with a headache. So I didn't go.

      I would use invisibility to fight crimes because your enemy or the person your fighting would never know where you are and you would have a better advantage of winning. Invisibility not only could help you fight crimes but also it would help prevent some situations from happening. Say someone has plans for a bank Robery and you're invisible hearing all of this. You would go to the police and stop something that could harm civilians or even worse. Another ability I would use would be teleportation. I would use teleportation because if someone is injured and is far away from a hospital; I could teleport them to a hospital. Also would if there was a bad person with a bomb trying to attack some place big I could teleport that person out of there and save billions of lives. And finally, the last ability I would use would be mind reading. I would use mind reading to know and keep track of my opponents next move and that would be another ability for me to have an advantage.

Blog post

     I am strongly against the "no cellphone in hallway or on person rule". What if there is another bank that gets robbed and the school gets put on lock down again. If my mom sees or hears about it on the news or from whoever she is going to want to be in touch with me or want to here from me the whole time we're in lock down. She's not going to want to wait until every single student is accounted for. She's going to want to know ahead of time. That wouldn't be possible with the band on cellphones on person or in hallways. Some of us students were unaware of the capability of shutting down the computers with our cell phones or even thinking about hacking into the computers. So I think it is a little appauling that we all have this taken away from us when it was an immature student responsible for this. 

Journal entry

       I tried as hard as I could this morning to get out of bed, but I kept hitting snooze. I don't know why but I've been really tired lately. It was 20 minutes before I had to leave for the bus stop. I unwillingly get out of bed and get dressed. Then go downstairs and brush my teeth and wash my face. Next thing I know I look at my phone and I only have about 10 minutes or less to do my hair and makeup. And I still didn't pack my lunch. So as soon as I finish my hair and makeup, I pack my lunch, then wake up my mom so she can drive me to the bus stop. So I wouldn't be late like the day before . I'm not a morning person especially when I'm going to school. I absolutely dread going. But I suck it up and go anyways . :(

Journal prompt #6

     I wake up from this very deep sleep as if I had been sedated. The first thing I see is this ginormous shark staring at me. I think to myself, Am I alive? I start shaking because I'm so scared and I don't know what to do. I know I shouldn't run because the shark would probably chase me. So I slowly back away looking at the shark. As I'm slowly moving, it's moving. So I go faster, and it goes faster. Next thing I know I'm running and the shark is chasing me. I'm running out of breathe, scared I'm running slower and slower. I feel like I've been running for forever. I'm terrified. The shark is gaining on me. I trip and I stagger to get up, It's even closer. What do I do? It's dark now. I can barely see. I stop for a breathe. But I can still hear the shark circling me. I get ready to run again but it's to late. The shark has gobbled me up.

     The way Brooklin (my friend) comforts me is when I'm going through something hard, like at home or someone or even personal things. She is always there to help and give advice. I can always lean on her when I'm in a time of need. When it's a problem that I don't want to share or something I don't want to explain to anyone I always turn to music. Sometimes music is the way to go. If there is a song that relates to my problem I probably will repeat it over and over to try and find a positive side. Finally but not least I have my buddy Sarah there to comfort me . When I was worried about a history test I didn't study for, she told me not to worry about it and that is wasn't that big of a deal. So she is also another person I can lean on and she always boost my confidence !

Lenaé.

Standing for lime or linden tree.
Limes are so sour just like me.
Green and strong as the linden tree.
Yellow me as the leaves of the linden tree.

Pyramidal shape like a diamond in a rough.
Deep rooted like my name I will never be ashamed, because my mom gave me this name.

Strong as can be, I will never show the weak side bending on a knee.
Stubborn and strong as the roots of the linden tree and the wind sets me free.

Lenaé similar to Jenaé, as sister is to sister, as my mother  would say.
As heart to heart, we will never be apart.
Just as the roots from the start.

Journal Entry

     I wake up knowing that everyone else but me is an alien. First thing that comes to mind is my family. I go to check if they are all aliens too. Come to find out they are, even my little brothers and sister. I'm terrified. Trying to figure out what to do. I start packing a bag of clothes and personal items. Then, I sneak to the kitchen and grab as much food as I can carry. I then start to think, where am I going to go? I have to hide. I don't want the aliens turning me into some weird creature. After thinking for 3 minutes, I have come to a conclusion. I chose to go to the nearest water tower and hide. It was high in the air and I wouldn't expect an alien to look for a human being there. But of course the 2nd day up there I was caught and captured by the aliens and the brutally beat me because I hid. Then when that was over they turned me into an alien and I was their personal slave. The End !

journal entry #4

      It all began when I got delivered to this party place store. I got placed on a shelf just like all the other piñatas. I was afraid I would  never get picked because I am a panda piñata, and people usually always pick the horse or donkey looking ones because well that's the only kind u see at a kids birthday parties. As days go by I was  still sitting there. The shelves were getting empty again so the employers ordered more piñatas and of course they didn't order any more panda piñatas because I was still sitting there so they thought why buy more if we can't sell one. I felt so hopeless and useless just sitting there. It was like I was a waste of space. Days turn into weeks weeks turn into months. Until today a women walked in and said "I'm looking for a panda piñata , please tell me you have one? My daughter is in love with pandas and I've been all over the place and no one has one." The employee said "Today's your lucky day! We have only one in stock!" They walked up to me and I thought FINALLY ! IT'S ME BEING PICKED ! I get taken to the register and got rang up. The next second all I know I'd that I'm bring hit by a wooden stick till the candy is poring out of me and I've never been any happier. 

Journal #3

     If I were to choose five animals to go with me on the boat I would have to choose a horse, a cow, and three dogs. I chose to have a horse because when the flood is over I'm not going to walk everywhere, so my horse is there for me to ride when the flood is over. I also picked dogs because dogs are my favorite and great company to have around. Last but not least i chose a cow because what if I run out of something to eat. Cows, I'm used to eating beef. So that is why I chose a cow as one of my animals. My favorite movie is spirit. I've loved that movie ever since I was little because I love horses. My favorite dogs are pitbulls. They are very protective and joyful. I've been around pitbulls all my life, so I'm not afraid of them. They are the cutest animals ever.

     If i were to rent my school "Lccc" for one weeken, I think it should cost atleast 100,000 LC3 has free wifi, its a huge place, vending machines are everywhere, and there is air conditioning. Also there are couches people could sleep on, and starbucks ! It's the perfect school to rent.

Journal entry #2

     I left school early yesterday to go to a dentist appointment. At the dentist appointment I got the color on my braces change, then i went home. Once i got home I was so tired I had to take a nap. When I woke up, I ate dinner, then my mom asked me to straighten her hair so i did. While I was straightening her hair my mom, my brothers, and my sister were all watching the new "Planet of The Apse. Finally, when that was all over i did my chore, which was the kitchen, watched my show and went to bed.

 Journal Prompt #1

 If I were forced to spend the rest of my life as a deckhand or a librarian at a Prestigiou University, I would have to be a librarian. I would pick a librarian because what if I ever got swept overboard? I don't know how to swim, so I would probably die. Plus I hate cleaning up. So that wouldn't be the job for me. Also, I'm not okay with cleaning up after someone else's mess. It's a real big pet peeve of mine. I'm really good with dealing with kids, I may not like them but i would be able to put that aside and do my job if that would have to be my job for the rest of my life. I may not like cleaning and I may not like reading books in all, but I would rather be a librarian instead of a deckhand on a ship.
